THE GATHERING BAR
Drinks and tapas can be enjoyed at any time at this day-into-evening overwater bar. As the sun begins to set, ease into an organic aperitif. Our main bar has one of the best selections of freshly made cocktails, spirits and liqueurs in the Maldives.
DOWN TO EARTH
Begin your day with fresh fruits, juices, and breakfast staples. The day continues with a buffet of organic salads, live cooking stations, the wood-fired pizza oven, tandoors and grills. Sunset aperitifs lead into our evening menus where chefs take the stage in the open kitchen.

Gaze towards the heavens at the first overwater observatory in the Maldives. Sit at one of the four dining tables around our telescope and dine on an expertly crafted menu while our resident Astronomer is on-hand to help navigate the skies.

OVERSEAS BY MATHIAS DAHLGREN
From the mind of acclaimed Swedish chef, Mathias Dahlgren, Overseas' menu is an ode to organic produce and the sea. Dine on pescatarian, vegetarian, and plant-based single plates, sharing plates, and signature dishes for lunch and dinner.
SO IMAGINATIVE
Seating up to 20 guests, So Imaginative is a private room perfect for celebrations. Our sommeliers can create inspired wine tastings and wine dinners here, selecting the perfect pairings from the wine tower.
THE WINE CELLAR
Housed in the extraordinary wine tower within the Gathering, the Wine Cellar features a selection that includes predominantly organic or biodynamic wines. Chat with our sommeliers or organise a private wine tasting or wine dinner at the destination of your choosing.
THE CRAB SHACK
With an upstairs deck to watch sunsets from, try the Sri Lankan Mud Crab curry, or the Alaskan crabs that rotate through the week. A selection of ross is the highlight of the drink's menu. Recently voted as the ˜World's Most Romantic Restaurant on CNN.com.
GUESS WHOS COOKING
Dine on a secret menu, prepared by one of our chefs, in a secret, ever-changing location. There is no menu, with each dish tailored to your preferences. Our chef will reveal themselves only after the meal, to talk about the concept, ingredients and what inspired them. It is advised that guests book before 16:00 on Thursday.
SO WILD BY DIANA VON CRANACH
Dine on a health-conscious plant-based menu designed by the innovative raw food chef Diana Von Cranach, showcasing unique and simple dishes that revive historical, nearly forgotten traditional recipes from the Indonesian Spice Islands and Southeast Asia. Ninety percent of the ingredients come freshly picked from Soneva Jani's organic garden and most dishes will be raw. Expect some unusual ingredients, as well as healing herbs and botanics.
SO ENGAGING
So Engaging is our chef's table, which offers a mystery menu for five very special guests. Get a front row seat to the action, and converse with our chef as he prepares exciting, delicious dishes for his guests of honour.
SO PRIMITIVE
Gather together for a dining experience that brings the element of fire to the fore. So, Primitive's centrepiece is a fire pit where different cooking techniques are honoured. Think roasting, grilling, searing and cooking in a kettle, clay pots (on coals), salt-crusted baking and cooking over coals. Choose from a menu that features fresh seafood, meats, and plant-based dishes.
CINEMA PARADISO BY CHEF NIKKI
Chef Nikki heads up this Japanese kitchen, serving modern style sashimi, black cod and other Japanese favourites with a contemporary twist. Enjoy a set meal while you take in a classic film at our overwater silent theatre, Cinema Paradiso.
FULL MOON DINNER
A unique dining experience prepared only once a month in celebration of the full moon. Satiate your appetite with dinner under a glowing moon, served on the sandbar of resort's beach. Please ask your Barefoot Butler for this month's full moon dates.

OBSERVATORY
Visit the first overwater Observatory in the Maldives, where you can see constellations in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Let our resident Astronomers guide you through the magic of space and share their knowledge of how ancient cultures used the night sky to navigate, harvest, hunt and teach.
TURTLE ON CALL
Get a glimpse into the lives of some of the Maldives's sea turtles with the help of our Marine Biologist. Don't miss your chance to see a mother turtle lay her eggs in the sand, tiny hatchlings make their way to the ocean or come to the aid of turtles who need assistance. Please let your Barefoot Butler know so they can add your name to the Turtle on Call register.
GARDEN TO TABLE
The organic gardens at Soneva Jani provide our kitchens and those of Soneva Fushi with fruit, vegetables and herbs. While providing the freshest of produce for our guests, having our own gardens also lowers our carbon emissions. Tour the garden with our Horticulturist and pick the ingredients or your garden lunch, you can also plant a tree sapling to commemorate your stay.
MARINE CONSERVATION EXPEDITION
To truly understand the fragility of coral reefs in our oceans and how you can help better protect them join our Marine Biologist on a number of tasks. Under their guidance, you will take part in a beach clean-up on an inhabited island, followed by a micro-plastic survey, coral bleaching survey, and a snorkel session.
LOCAL FISHING EXPERIENCE WITH JAWA
The Maldivian way of life revolves around the ocean, it provides them with their food and many of their livelihoods. Our local fisherman, Jawa, will take you out on a traditional wooden dhoni, then you can choose to either bottom line fishing or trawling. Your catch of the day will be prepared to your liking for dinner back at Soneva Jani.
Soneva Spa
Indulge in an array of relaxing and rejuvenating therapies from around the world, including traditional Ayurvedic massage, Vitamin IV therapy and chemical-free Sodashi facial rituals. From mid 2021, our wellbeing offering will further expand with the launch of the new Soneva Wellness Centre, with a dedicated Ayurvedic Centre, additional treatment rooms, cross-functional fitness facilities and open air yoga.
